Registration:-
* Fill out the on line voter registration form
* Take printout of the PDF form (4 pages) generated after you complete your on line registration.
* Sign and submit this Form along with necessary address proof and age proof document, at the office of your local Electoral Registration Officer (ERO).

Once your address verification is completed by a government official (BLO or Booth Level Officer), your name will be included in the next revision of voter lists for your city.

*  You need to fill Form 6 to get enrolled for Voter Id Card
* An Address Proof document.
* If you are a first time voter, you will also need to submit an age proof document.
* If you are a student residing in a hostel / mess, you might not have any of the above mentioned address proof documents. In this case, you can get a Student Declaration Form signed by your college dean/principal/registrar and submit it along with your voter registration form.



Status of The Voter Id Card:- Visit your Electoral Officer in the local election Department and inquire about the status of your Voter ID Card. Give a complaint, if reply is not proper. Finally file a RTI (Right To Information) Application seeking day to day action taken of the issuance of Voter ID Card.
