National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), a Premier Institute of Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DietY), Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Government of India is involved in Human Resources Development for Information, Electronics and Communication Technology (IECT) in the country. NIELIT is set to launch its '0' and 'A' Level courses on Multimedia and Animation Technology (MAT) at the National level. 

The objective of the MAT-0 Level course is to acquire the basic knowledge to appreciate the basic Multimedia systems, tools, and techniques as well as animation production skills.
