आज हर जगह चर्चा का विषय बनी रिंगिंग बेल्स कंपनी ने मेक इन इंडिया के तहत दुनिया का सबसे सस्ता स्मार्टफोन Freedom 251 महज 251 रुपये की कमत में लांच किया है। लेकिन इतनी चर्चा के साथ-साथ इस स्मार्टफोन को लेकर कई विवाद भी खड़े हो चुके हैं।

इस फोन को लेकर हो रहे तीन प्रमुख विवाद-
1. फ्रीडम 251 की लॉन्चिंग में मनोहर पर्रिकर को जाना था, लेकिन वे नहीं गए।
2. इंडियन सेल्युलर एसोसिएशन के मुताबिक यह स्मार्टफोन 4100 रुपये की रिटेल कीमत वाला है, लेकिन इसें 251 रुपये में कैसे उपलब्ध कराया?
3. इस रिंगिंग बेल्स फ्रीडम 251 का लुक आईफोन तथा पहले से मौजूद एडकॉम स्मार्टफोन की तरह हैं। इसके अलावा जब फोन की बुकिंग्स गुरूवार सुबह 6 बजे शुरू हुई तो यूजर्स को ऑर्डर प्लेस करने में काफी दिक्कतें आई।
इससे पहले वेबसाइट क्रैश हो गई थी। लोगों ने ट्विटर पर भी इसको लेकर अपना गुस्सा निकाला और चुटकियां भी ली।आईसीए ने उठाए सवाल
251 रुपये की कीमत वाले इस फोन की लॉन्चिंग 17 फरवरी को नोएडा में की गई। रक्षामंत्री पर्रिकर इसकी लॉन्चिंग में नहीं आए। इसके अलावा मोबाइल इंडस्ट्री बॉडी इंडियन सेल्युलर एसोसिएशन (आईसीए) ने कहा है कि टेलिकॉम मिनिस्टर रविशंकर प्रसाद को इस मामले की जांच करनी चाहिए। आईसीए का तर्क है कि सब्सिडी पर सेल के बावजूद इस तरह के स्मार्टफोन की कीमत 4100 रुपये से कम नहीं हो सकती। आईसीए ने कहा कि इस तरह के प्रोडक्ट की बिल ऑफ मटीरियल (बीओएम) वैल्यू 40 डॉलर यानी 2,700 रुपये आती है। इसके अलावा यह कॉस्ट भी तब आती है जब जब इसे सस्ती सप्लाई चेन से खरीदा जाए।

जवाब में रिंगिंग बेल्स ने बताया ये गणित
रिंगिंग बेल्स के प्रेसिडेंट अशोक चड्डा ने फ्रीडम 251 के लॉन्चिंग इवेंट में कहा कि इस साल अंत तक इस स्मार्टफोन के हार्डवेयर भारत में बनाए जाएंगे। इसके बाद इसे 100 फीसदी मेड इन इंडिया कर दिया जाएगा। इसके लिए नोएडा और उत्तराखंड में पायलट प्रोजेक्ट लाया जा रहा है। यहां की उत्पादन क्षमता हर महीने 5 लाख स्मार्टफोन्स की होगी। ऐसे पांच मॅन्युफॅक्चरिंग सेंटर बनाए जाएंगें। हालांकि शुरूआत में ढाई लाख ऑर्डर के बाद बुकिंग रोक दी जाएगी। चड्डा ने कहा कि बिल ऑफ मटीरियल्स के हिसाब से इस स्मार्टफोन की कॉस्ट 2000 रुपये है। भारत में बनाकर हम इसमें से 400 रुपये बचा लेंगे। इसके बाद इसे ऑनलाइन बेचकर इससे 400 रुपये और बचा लेंगे। इसके बाद प्री-ऑर्डर पर नंबर बढ़ा तो हम 400 रुपये बचा लेंगे। इसके बाद जब प्लैटफॉर्म बड़ा होगा तो हम ऐसे प्रोडक्ट्स हाईलाइट करेंगे, जो कस्टमर्स के लिए वैल्यूएबल होंगे। इससे सोर्स ऑफ इनकम बढ़ेगी और कॉस्ट को कंट्रोल किया जाएगा। कंपनी का कहना है कि इस फोन के लिए कोई गवर्नमेंट सब्सिडी नहीं ली जा रही और न ही प्रोजेक्ट में सरकार का कोई डिपार्टमेंट शामिल है।
