Job Description:
- Incumbent will be responsible for :
- Designing and reviewing the design of substation Line and
switchyard projects including but not limited to protection and control,
elementary drawings, SCADA, physical layout and design, underground and
overhead conductor routing, sizing and design.
- Performing internal quality reviews of design work to ensure
compliance with IEEE, client design & IS standards, safety
requirements, and good utility practice.
- Coordinating with civil and structural engineering resources and aspects of the substation Line and switchyard projects.
- Preparation of construction documents including but not limited to
general arrangement drawings, plans, sections, elevations, one-line
diagrams, schematic and wiring diagrams, cable schedules, bill of
materials (BOMs).
- Provide leadership, training and mentoring to develop and maintain a highly competent substation engineering team.
Educational Qualifications and Work Experience :
- B.E Electrical from a good Institute with 10-15 years of
experience in similar assignments in Power sector (preferably Solar and
Wind).

- Liasioning with Govt. agencies such as Nodal agencies and Discoms of various states
- Keep updation of policies of state nodal agencies for wind power project
- Analysis of project commercials and preparation of comparisons between various proposals available for wind projects
- Technical & Commercial Evaluation of the EPC contracts.
- Preparation of documents for submission in various state nodal agencies
- Conducting evacuation feasibility study of various sites along with the projects team
- Coordinating with surveyors for identification of mast locations,
wind turbine locations, land ownership details and classification
- Site visits along with the projects team for the Pre-Feasibility/Feasibility study of the site
- Grid connectivity approval from STU/State Transco
- Submitting wind mast applications to the departments concerned for WRA studies
- Preparation of Pre-Feasibility Reports and Detailed Project Reports in coordination with the Projects and WRA teams
- Land Acquisition and applications with state nodal agencies like RRECL, MEDA, NRED (MP),GEDA etc.
- Support the on/off site construction team by providing input into
the development of the scope of work for construction services as well
as monitoring construction activities and managing cash flow and
budgetingof the overall project.
- Preparation of detailed project report & Involve in project item wise variance from budgeted cost
- Liasion and Coordination with vendors for product dispatch and
arranging for all the documentation required (Road Permit, C-form)
Educational Qualifications and Work Experience :
- B.Tech. (preferably MBA) with 2-3 years of experience.
Desired Profile :
- Experience of working, liaisoning and building relationships with MNRE/state level agencies.
- Good understanding of various central/state level Electricity rules.
- Sound knowledge of regulatory environment (Regulations of MNRE/CERC/SERCs etc.).
- Ability to represent the Company in Regulatory Commissions.

etc … Costing of the systems for bidding.
- Cost – benefit analysis, Pay back calculations, Cash flows, NPV & IRR calculations, profitability.

- B.E from a good Institute, MBA preferred with 2-4 years of experience in similar assignments in Solar Rooftop segment.

Job Description:
- Incumbent will be responsible for Land Acquisition and related approvals & documentation as per :
- Survey of proposed land & verification/determination of land price.
- Land acquisition of private land: Preparing the legal process of
acquiring land by following applicable law and rules. Scrutiny and
verification of all land related documents. Interaction with local
intermediary, if any engaged. Preparation of feasibility reports,
preliminary notes on the property, title reports, and search reports.
- Land acquisition of revenue land: Preparation of necessary
documents and co-ordination with various revenue officers for getting
necessary permission from Government authorities. Liaison with various
Government departments viz. Revenue, Panchayats, Taluka/sub
division/district level bodies. Getting the land leased out to the
Company.
- Land acquisition of forest land: Liaison with various Government
departments viz. forest department, revenue department and district
level bodies. Securing Stage-1 & stage-2 clearances. Getting the
land leased out to the Company.
- Drafting of various types of Deeds (Agreement to Sell, Sale deeds, MOUs, Lease deeds etc.)
- Legal correspondence, liaison with various departments for obtaining development approvals for wind/solar farm projects.
- Assisting in security creation on land in favour of lenders.
Educational Qualifications and Work Experience :
- Graduation (LL.B/Engg./B.Sc/B.A/B.Com) with 5-8 years of experience in land acquisition role for wind/solar projects.
Desired Profile :
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Good understanding of land laws and legal documents. Preference for knowledge of local language.
- Is updated on all latest reforms/regulations related to land acquisition.
