1. Name of the Post - Chief Technology Architect for MyGov.nic.in
Work Responsibilities:


  • Provides leadership and vision of overall architecture and technology strategy related to mygov.nic.in platform.
  • Drive platform architecture design, scalability, security and other implementation aspects in high level to detail levels.
  • Work with software teams to implement the designs, help troubleshoot and ensure the platform is highly functional and scalable.
  • Articulate architecture and technology strategy and ensure implementation of entire platform as per prescribed standards.
  • Work ranges from conceptual and strategic to tactical and includes building architectures and systems as well as initiating and overseeing the implementation of the whole system from an architectural perspective.



Work Experience:
  • Hands-on experience in architecting, designing, building and deploying highly scalable platforms.
  • Strong product experience with respect to architecture, design, security, upgrades and scalability.
  • Experience in building systems that can scale to millions of users in a distributed environment and to very large distributed databases.
  • Hands-on experience in building systems with big data technologies having large scale unstructured content and data.
  • Must be a practitioner with broad architecture implementation experience with strong research and strategic bend of mind.
  • Ability to articulate and make effective presentations to varied technology and non-technology groups.
  • Ability to work effectively in disparate teams within and outside the government as an evangelist and mentor at strategy and detail implementation level.
Qualification:
  • Minimum of 14 years in the IT industry with at least 7 years into building large scale system architectures.
  • An Engineering degree (preferably Computer Science), Master in Computer Applications, Master in Science in Mathematics/Statistics/Operation Research/Computer Science/IT from a leading university in India or abroad.
2 . Name of the Post -Solution Architect for MyGov.nic.in

Work Responsibilities:
  • Provide value addition to the projected requirement with respect to future needs and socio-economic aspects.
  • Selection of application and technology for product development should be their strength and must be capable of managing multiple projects.
  • Should be strong in the assessment of the project needs and their resolutions, System integration quality assurance besides handing project teams.
  • Should be aware of cross platforms, Open Source Tools and Technologies, Mobile and telecom technology tools and development/integration issues.
  • Own key application logic as well as product plan and drive improvements through development and implementation process.
  • Contribute to team efforts for continuous improvement to refine, standardize and document approaches and methodologies for application lifecycle management.
  • Manages the phased release of various software modules within mygov.nic.in platform.
Work Experience:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of software engineering methodologies, principles and practices.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Consulting Process Improvement, Applications and Project Management in the field of Information Technology.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of product management practices, processes and tools in software industry.
  • In depth understanding of PHP based application development frameworks and Extensive knowledge on HTML5, java_script, MySQL/MariaDB, AJAX, Jquery, etc.
  • Hands-on Experience of Cache Layers like APC, Varnish, Memcache, etc.
  • Hands-on of NoSQL Solutions viz. CouchDB, MongoDB, Casendra etc.
  • Working experience of Code Repository viz. GIT, RCS, CVS, SVN etc. and bug tracking tools viz. bugzilla, mantis etc.
  • Practical experience of working in a Linux server environment.
  • Working Experience of Cyber Security Guidelines (OWASP).
Qualification:
  • Minimum of 10 years in the ICT industry with at least 8 years into building large scale system architectures.
  • An Engineering degree (preferably Computer Science), Master in Computer Applications, Master in Science in Mathematics/Statistics/Operation Research/Computer Science/IT from a leading university in India or abroad.
3. Name of the Post - Senior Software Developer for MyGov.nic.in
Work Responsibilities:
  • Knowledge of latest open source application development technologies/tools for product development and must be capable of working in multiple projects.
  • Should be strong in the application business logic of the project needs and their resolutions, System integration quality assurance.
  • Should be working on Open Source Tools and Technologies, Mobile and telecom technology tools and development/integration issues.
  • Own key application business logic as well as project development plan and drive improvements through development, implementation and Quality Assurance process.
  • Contribute to team for continuous improvement to refine, standardize and document approaches and methodologies for application development lifecycle.
  • Should able to work in phased release of various software modules within mygov.nic.in platform.
Work Experience:
  • Working Experience of any MVC frameworks like Symfony, CodeIgniter, Zend, Yii.
  • Extensive knowledge on HTML5, Java Script, MySQL/MariaDB, AJAX, Jquery and Mobile Responsiveness etc.
  • Working experience of Code Repository viz. GIT, RCS, CVS, SVN etc. and bug tracking tools viz. bugzilla, mantis etc.

4. Name of the Post - Chief Content Coordinator for MyGov.nic.in
 You are a right potential candidate if you are:
A passionate citizen of India with strong writing skills and editorial experience with the drive to contribute to the nation.

You have an interest in public affairs, governance and feel your efforts can help change lives of Indians. You are a high energy personality with team building skills and your natural instinct is to find solutions to problems.

You should have the creative thinking and editorial judgment for how the various tasks of Governance can be articulated in an exciting and motivating manner to trigger discussions and to motivate volunteers to undertake tasks which can be done online as well as on the ground. This will require both Imagination and Passion.

Hands-on experience with social media tools is a must.


Work Description: The Chief Content Coordinator would be responsible for creating, coordinating and overseeing all the content on mygov.nic.in . The person will also have to lead a team of content volunteers by providing them guidance on new ideas which have relevance to the various on ground activities various ministries will want to put out from time to time.

The individual may also have to interact with government officials and ensure meaningful inputs and ideas are exchanged on a continuous basis to create good content. The individual will also look after the timeliness of content, style of writing and language standards in order to ensure the website has high levels of engagement, fun and interest using all online tools including those for social media.


5. Name of the post - Content Creator for MyGov.nic.in
You are a right potential candidate if you are:

Work Description: The role of a Content Creator is to create and edit content on mygov.nic.in. The person will work in close coordination with the Chief Content Coordinator and a set of Content Creators to create content and give new ideas which have relevance to the various on ground activities various ministries will want to put out from time to time.

The candidate may have to interact with officials across government departments to seek and execute relevant inputs related to MyGov.


6. Name of the Post - Content Editor for MyGov.nic.in
You are a right potential candidate if you are:

Hands-on experience with social media tools is a must.


Work Description: The role of the Content Editor is to approve and if need be give feedback on every task, submission and creative entry on MyGov. The Content Editor would have to work in close coordination with the Chief Content Coordinator and a set of Content Creators. 

The candidate may have to interact with the various contributors as well and ensure nothing offensive or inappropriate is posted on MyGov.
